Coriolis Flow Meter is a high-precision flowmeter that directly measures fluid mass, flow and density. The Coriolis Flow Meter works based on the principle of Coriolis force and is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing.
What Is Coriolis Principle?
When the fluid flows through the vibrating tube, the pipe (usually U-shaped, Straight or Ω-shaped) is subjected to periodic vibration, and the fluid generates inertial force in the pipe, namely Coriolis force, causing the pipe to deform slightly.
The interaction between the fluid flow direction and the vibration direction produces a vibration phase difference (time difference). The phase difference is proportional to the mass flow rate of the fluid.
The phase difference is detected by the sensor, and the mass flow rate is calculated by the electronic components, and the fluid density can be derived at the same time.
