The ultrasonic level meter emits an ultrasonic pulse from the sensor during measurement. The sound wave is reflected by the liquid surface and then received by the same sensor. The distance from the sensor to the measured liquid level is calculated based on the time between the emission and reception of the sound wave. It can be widely used to measure the level of various liquids.
