Diesel Fuel Flow Meter (WELC Series) is a classic of volumetric flow meter, which consists of meter body, rotating meshing gear, transmission parts and metering chamber. The diesel fuel flow meter is mainly used for continuous and intermittent metering control of circulating medium in closed pipes on site. Oval gear type diesel fuel flow meter has the unique advantages of easy installation on site and easy reading, low working pressure loss and incomparable metering accuracy. It can display single flow value, total flow value and accept customized flow meter with accuracy up to 0.2 level,  there is 4-20mA output, RS485, pulse output for options, which has the outstanding advantage of secondary instrument.

What is the measuring principle of Oval Gear Diesel Fuel Flow Meter? 

The inlet and outlet at both ends of the diesel fuel flow meter will generate a pressure difference when the medium flows. Two intermeshing rotating gears work on the bearings. The gears driven by the liquid pressure difference generated by the medium flowing through the two ends of the flow meter continuously compress the medium to be discharged. Therefore, the total flow volume of the medium can be obtained by knowing the rotation frequency of the intermeshing gears.
