At this time, the cut liquid enters the measurement chamber of the oval gear PD meter, and the liquid entering the measurement chamber has the same characteristics. Their volumes are the same. The number of times the gear rotates and this volume is the key to the measurement of the oval gear PD meter.

What is a PD meter?

The oval gear PD meter is capable of measuring both high-temperature (100°C to 200°C) and room-temperature (-20°C to 80°C) liquids. The viscosity range of the liquids that our oval gear PD meter can test is 200–3000 MPa. It should be mentioned that asphalt with solid particles cannot be measured with the oval gear PD meter. Measurements can be challenging and gear damage can occur from solids or a mixture of solids and slime.
