Ultrasonic Flow Meter
Our company’s ultrasonic flow meter is not the same as an ultrasonic heat meter. At room temperature and pressure, our ultrasonic flow meter typically monitors water. While measuring, it is best to check the condition of the tube frequently. If sedimentation does develop, it should be cleaned up right away because it is inevitable.
Installation Notes:
If the pipe is horizontal, it is not recommended to place the clamp-on sensor of the Ultrasonic Flow Meter at the top and bottom of the pipe. Because the propagation speed of ultrasound in liquid and air is different, there may be bubbles above the pipe, which means that the bubbles will affect the measurement of the Ultrasonic Flow Meter. Placing the sensor at the bottom of the pipe may affect the measurement results due to the presence of dirt under the pipe. In addition, the propagation speed of solids and liquids is different.
Installation of Ultrasonic Flow Meter:
Wepower Electronic supports plug-in transducers and clamp on transducer installations. Our organization does not currently offer inline transducer installations. Whatever the placement strategy, it should be connected or positioned in accordance with real needs. For wall-mounted converters, you can use rail mounting clamps or PCB brackets to secure the converter to the wall, or you can use regular nails or 4 Φ 6 expansion bolts.
