Slurry density meter can be used in the measurement of clay, carbonate, silicate and other aqueous solutions. WPX301 FDM fork slurry density meter can be installed on open tank or sealed tank. Generally speaking, when there is stirring in the measuring tank, you can add a protective cover (with a layer of protective cover) to the slurry density meter. DN50 pipe is the usual configuration for the WPX301 fork density meter. When the instantaneous temperature fluctuates too much in aqueous solutions, the slurry density meter is not the best tool to use. The slurry density meter can measure muddy water in tanks or pipes, however it is not appropriate for measuring pulp.
Compared with the old version differential pressure type density meter, what is the standout of the new WPX301 FDM slurry density meter?
- In general, the differential pressure theory underlies the operation of the older density meter. The new slimy density meter of the WPX301 model is the direct measuring to ensure the high accuracy, which has very noticeable advantages. The old version of the differential pressure type of density meter first tests the differential pressure value to calculate the density using the computational formula (P=ρgh).
- WPX301 density meter usually has few damaged components or tuning forks as long as it is used frequently. However, the operation of the entire density meter will be impacted if one of the diaphragms of the older model is destroyed. Therefore, in terms of maintenance expenses, the WPX301 density meter provides substantial advantages.
- The four-wire system, which is more sophisticated in terms of power supply and signal output, is supported by the latest version of the WPX301 density meter. The slurry density meter was originally a two-wire device.
- Both new and old models are produced by our organization, and in certain circumstances, the older model may still be helpful. For example, the density of flocculent solutions, which are common in paper mills, must be estimated using the differential pressure model.
