Float Type Level Switch is mainly used in large buckets or water storage tanks, so it is also regarded as water storage tank level sensor or water tank level control switch.

How does the float type level switch work?

Float type level switch can be seen as a hollow floating ball. If the hollow coconut fruit is thrown into the sea, the coconut fruit will float on the surface. This means that the density of the coconut fruit and the sea water is the same. The main job of the Float type level sensor is to always keep it at the same level as the liquid level. The change of the floating ball will be sensed by the level switch due to the magnetic effect, so that the float type level switch can be measured indirectly.
