The cylindrical‑gear flow transmitter can measure extremely low flow rates and micro‑volume liquids.
What is the working principle of compact oval gear type flowmeter ?
The rotational speed of the gear flowmeter is measured by the sensor coil housed in the signal amplifier mounted on the housing, and the coil has no contact with the measured medium.As the driving gear cuts the magnetic lines of force generated by the permanent magnet inside the housing, the magnetic flux in the induction coil changes. The sensor coil transmits the detected periodic magnetic‑flux variation signal to the preamplifier. After amplification and shaping, a pulse signal proportional to the flow rate is generated. This pulse signal is fed into the unit‑conversion and flow‑integration circuit to obtain and display the total flow value. Meanwhile, the pulse signal is also sent to the frequency‑to‑current conversion circuit and converted into an analog current signal to indicate the instantaneous flow rate.
