Non Contact Radar Tank Gauge
A non-contact radar tank gauge is a device that measures solid substances in tanks using pulse wave radar. Wepower has introduced a new generation of radar tank gauges using excellent technology and years of experience.
By emitting and receiving radar signals that are reflected by the solids inside the tank, Non-contact Radar Tank Gauges (model number RD803) are primarily used to measure the material level inside tanks. Non-contact radar tank gauges use horn cone antennas. The cone horn antenna’s flare aids in more accurately matching the antenna impedance to the free space impedance.
Salt, berry shells, almonds, dried dates, raisins, and many other solid objects can all be measured with the non-contact radar tank gauge RD803. The conical radar’s direction can be changed to fit the needs of measuring solids thanks to the movable, direction-adjustable flange of the non-contact radar tank gauge, greatly improving the measurement’s usefulness and accuracy.

Why non-contact radar tank gauges being used to measure levels more frequently?
The level of liquids and materials can be measured using a variety of devices. According to various market demands, our Wepower company has introduced a variety of float level gauge series, magnetic flap level gauge series, ultrasonic level gauge, and so on.
Firstly, one benefit of using a non-contact radar level gauge RD803 is that it can measure distances of up to 70 meters, whereas floats and magnetic flaps are unable to do so. The typical range of magnetic flap level gauges is between 1 and 3 meters.
