Pipe type electromagnetic flow meter is high accuracy and widely used smart flow meter with multiple outputs: 4-20mA, pulse, HART etc.The sensor is made up of electrodes and measuring tubes for locating and gathering electromagnetic data in the liquid. The sensor should be utilized in accordance with the regulations and cleaned on a regular basis because the sensor’s condition and quality will have an impact on the entire measurement procedure.
What should the user pay attention to when measuring?
First you need to make sure the liquid you are measuring is conductive (conductivity ≥ 5uS/cm which refers to any sort of filthy foreign material that enters a fluid stream and impairs the flow, is another issue that can affect the accuracy of a flow meter. Oils and dirt that enter the fluid can produce sludge.
When measuring, the flow meter needs to be installed in the pipeline structure with water storage, which can prevent the formation of air bubbles and improve the efficiency of the measurement.
