Measuring Principle Of PT100 Temperature Transmitter:

Pt100/Pt1000 Temperature Transmitters are typically used in industry as a measurement insert that is inserted into a connecting head together with the proper protective components. The connection head is where the electrical connection is made. The thermometer’s readily changeable measuring insert is made up of a conduit or cable made of appropriate material with one or more Pt100/Pt1000 platinum measuring resistors at the sensitive end. Since resistance increases with temperature, when the resistance value changes, the working instrument will display the temperature value corresponding to the resistance value.
